In the preliminary ratings, the Saturday Night Live hosted by Anna Faris with musical guest Drake scored a 2.6 adults 18-49 rating in the 25 markets with Local People Meters.

That was steady versus last week’s preliminary adults 18-49 ratings for last Saturday’s SNL (Ben Stiller) which was down a tenth from the previous week (Melissa McCarthy), identical to this season’s premiere (Alec Baldwin) ratings, and somewhat below the average of original SNL episodes last season.  As is typical with new SNL episodes, it was the top-rated program on the broadcast networks for the night.

via NBC press note:

In late-night metered-market households Saturday night:

  • “Saturday Night Live” (4.8/12 in metered-market households), hosted by Anna Faris with musical guest Drake, dominated its time period.
  • In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, “Saturday Night Live” averaged a 2.6 rating, 11 share in adults 18-49, tying it the #1 telecast of the night with Fox’s coverage of the baseball playoffs and ahead of all other primetime programs on ABC, CBS or NBC.
