The Closer would have placed #16 on the Broadcast list. Britney's meltdown on the VMA certainly didn't hurt the ratings, which were up 22 percent from last year. We here at TVbytheNumbers have never watched iCarly, but we love it for stealing Steve Jobs' lower-case i.
