I don’t know why Olberman and MSNBC are getting so excited about
their ratings. They obviously are in the toilet as compared to Bill O’Reilly.
He beats them handsomely. Olberman should call himself the Worse, worst and worser person in the world. He has nothing to be happy about.

Olbermann is still getting paid — i’m guessing NOT as much as O’Reilly, but still enough to be smiling, smiling, smiling more than the average Joe

Olberman was out all week (Sept. 17 – 20th)!!! And he is doing great in the Demo the one that it counts!!!!!

Ron- he’s far back in second in that demo too. That excuse Olbermann and his people use is tired and transparent. It just makes his second place finish look less pitiful.

I continue to be amazed at how much interest there is in this “contest”! While I think it’s true that either O’Reilly or Olbermann has more to smile about than most people, more people watch Katie Couric. Sure, Couric is available in 20+ million more homes, and like these shows almost everyone who watches her is over 55. But it’s still a lot more viewers.
I’d be more interested in comparing O’Reilly to the last place show on the CW, and comparing Olberman to CNN’s Headline news. While these comparisons make for better “horse races”, clearly nobody but me is interested in them!

Brian Williams audience is about 20% greater than Katie Couric’s, and therefore Couric’s ratings are deemed horrible. Yet, Bill O’Reilly’s audience is a whopping 350% greater than Olbermann’s, but Olbermann is deemed a ratings “success”. Interesting.

Olbermann is not anti-American, or hate filled, you have him confused with Old Reilly! Bill spends 60% of his show ranting against illegal aliens, and only shows Mexicans, but doesn’t mention all the Candian, European, Asian, or African people who have overstayed their visas. He is perpetuating racism, and bigotry.

Countdown is considered a success in the ratings because just a few years ago before Keith came in the ratings for the time slot were far, far lower then they are today.The BOR blowers don’t like to deal with the facts, but the facts are Countdowns ratings have increased dramatically with each passing year.
It’s also worth noting that Keith was out the last 3 days in that comparison and just like on BOR’s show when theirs a sub the ratings go down rather significantly.
