was a pretty big time commitment this week with three airings. It was stealing too much time from strengthening my geek skills, so I confess like Bill Belichick and Barry Bonds, I cheated. Living in the PDT, I didn't want to wait for the results so I searched the blogsphere and found out Mark made the cut. He was in the bottom two in terms of votes.
Later, I used the fast-forward feature to zoom by Dolly Parton and everything else and get to the final results and the reactions.
Mark definitely wants to be a part of this competition and I'm glad he'll be around next week to Mambo. While he's perhaps not well known outside Web 1.0 & 2.0 geeks, he is pretty well known among sports fans. I recommend Cubes rent out ad space on every Jumbotron and Diamondvision at every major sporting event in the US this weekend begging for votes. He can afford it. More likely, you'll see more about his experiences on his blog.
Cubes just had hip replacement surgery this past June, it's pretty impressive. If you're one of the
5000 500 people in the US who cares about monetizing Internet video, you can read Mark's (and others) thoughts on that here.
