ABC kicked everyone's ass last night, but will Cubes hang on for another week?
I was one of an amazing 20.34 million viewers tuned into the 2 hour episode of. It also killed in the 18-49 category with a 5.2/13.
I switched over to Heroes, and was one of 11.94m viewers at 9pm. Heroes tied with the second hour of Dancing in the 18-49 catgeory with a 5.5/13. But Heroes has either been bitten with the sophomore slump or just takes a while to build (which was apparently the case last year) but a year ago it had 12.96m viewers and a similar 5.5/13 in the 18-49.
Journeyman is doing about as well as Studio 60 did last year, but Studio 60 kinda got cancelled. While Journeyman's numbers 8.39m viewers and a 3.3/8 in the 18-49 were close to it's premier, it's losing about 30% of the Heroes lead-in. It was 3rd in its time slot for both catgeories. NBC's Chuck, also 3rd in both categories in the 8pm slot with 8.22m viewers and 3.1/8.
CBShad 13.38m viewers but was third in its timeslot in the 18-49 with a 4.6/11. : Miami won the 10pm slot in both categories with 14.88m viewers and a 4.6/11 in the 18-49 category. I'll have to check out -- 8.58m viewers and a 3.4/8 and profess my love for Kaley Cuoco in a separate post.
Fox's K-Ville is tanking: 5.78m viewers and a 2.0/5 in the 18-49 demo. Over on the CW, the best it could muster was 2.99m viewers and a 1.4/3 for the 9:30p airing of.
I'm really tired. I'd complain that staying up into the wee hours to vote for my boy Mark Cuban on99 times takes a lot out of you but he's a little older than me and prancing around on stage with a three month old artificial hip, so I'll spare you my kvetching. The judges were not so kind to him this week.
"Yeah it was fun, but it looked like a bulldog chasing a squirrel." Still, the judges liked him better than Wayne Newton, but will that matter with the American public? We'll find out tonight. I'd like to see Cubes advance, though if he's eliminated at least I'll be spared the 99 votes next week.
