I always find these numbers interesting because a lot of series that on first glance don’t seem as successful as they once were or as the network hoped they would be are actually doing well with Live+7. People keep talking about the dropoff in viewers for Bionic Woman, but it’s actually holding up as well as can be expected when you take into account the timeshifted audience. Everyone has been talking about the dropoff in audience for Grey’s Anatomy, but it’s acatually still drawing 20+ million viewers; Pushing Daisies is doing great; Desperate Housewives and Heroes are back to the previous season numbers. Of course, networks and advertisers don’t really give a damn about this, but hey it’s the 21st century, they need to adapt.

For The Office, the 33.6% figure refers to the increase in total viewers if you look at Live +7 rather than Live. (2.5M time-shifters divided by 7.4M live viewers)
It does not refer to the percent of total Live +7 viewers who watched The Office on their DRV.
That figure was 25.1% (2.5M time-shifters dividend by 9.94M Live +7 viewers).
