Marie Osmond Passes Out After Dance, ABC Wins Viewers & 18-49 Demo

Scoreboard for Monday Oct 22 ABC CBS NBC FOX CW
Total Viewers (million) 16.04 12.14 8.04 6.79 2.39
rating/Share: Adults 18-49 4.6/11 4.1/10 3.4/8 2.5/6 1.0/2

CSI: Miami is hot at 10pm. Heroes doesn't win the 18-49 demo for its slot. Things seem to be looking up for Kaley C. and crew at the Big Bang. Mark Cuban plays the nerd card (complete with taped glasses for his dance) but that doesn't top Marie O. dropping to the floor like a rock. Speaking of dropping like a rock -- not looking good for Journeyman. Update: 10/23/07 22:15 PDT: shame on me  for leaving out Samantha Who? with 14.35m viewers and a 4.6/10 in the demo.  No drop off from it's debut. Wow. My bad.

All of my favorite shows so far this season are on NBC: Bionic Woman, Chuck and Journeyman. Hopefully, NBC will stick with these shows for the rest of the season (and hopefully season them for future seasons on the air). It would be a shame to lose these original shows because of the numbers; they are quality alternatives to the familar.

I think Big Bang might be riding the wave between How I Met Your Mother and Heroes. If you're watching those two shows, what else is there to watch? Shame about Journeyman. They're leaving some cool questions in the show (The guy from Langley calls him back while he's in the past) and it looks like the show will get pulled before they give the answers.

I think Big Bang is riding the wave of Kaley Couco being cute as heck, but that might just be me.

I want to give Journeyman a chance. It's an interesting premise science fiction wise.

They're high on creating tension between Dan and everyone in his “present-day” life and they never really relieve that tension so I think playing it up so much is just plain annoying.

Living in San Francisco I love that they shot so much footage here, though I could have done without seeing the CGI recreation of the '89 earthquake about a block from where I live. I want to give it a shot, but focusing so much on the drama between Dan and everyone in his 2007 life is just not very interesting or entertaining for me.

The rest of the country can watch any show from beginning to end still not gonna help the show to survive if we’re not a chosen member of the that ratings company. It’s sad that only chosen few will decide what the whole country should watch.

I hang my head in shame at the shabby way I have treated the CW. It’s fixed. Thanks so much for the kind words, and good looking out!

These ratings are a mystery to me??? With so many people DVRing TV shows now, how can they have a true account of who is watching and when? Give Journeyman a chance! I watched the pilot online and became hooked. Great show now on my DVR list :)
