Chrissy, the storyline is FAR from finished. The season 2 finale that you will see is the same season 2 finale that the writers/producers planned before the pilot even aired. They have a myriad of stories left to tell.

I love Chuck, yea season one wasn’t so good but so far season 2 is great. But With already 20 episodes in season 2 it looks like it will be canceled according to the storyline. Sadly to say, it looks like it is almost done, It seems that soon Chuck will get the intersect out of his head and finally be done. But the thing about Chuck that is different from other shows is that I can’t wait til Monday for when the new episode comes on. I feel like a little kid watching it, like i am so giddy. I actually have something to look forward to and can’t wait til the day is up. I really hope the show isn’t cancelled because it is my number 1 show. I always watch reruns on hulu. (OMG I think Bryce is HOT!) and I am in love with Chuck!!! The show is soo smart and funny and with action mixed in. I think the show is briliant and I will be upset if they decide to cancel it!

I can’t believe they are considering canceling Chuck. My whole family watches it every week and it’s about the only show besides Heros and Lost that I watch regularly. It is finally a great sitcom that is funny, goofy, and intelligent all at the same time. And generally good clean fun for the whole family. Something seriously lacking on television today. It’s Monday night slot is a great way to start the week and we all look forward to it every week. We especially love the back and forth between the missions and the Buy More group. Sometimes the Buy More antics are as good as Chuck, Sarah, and Casey. It’s a great overall cast and well written.

Hang in their Chuck……we’re rooting for you.

I have never missed a episode, and I have pretty much scheduled my job around it to make sure I’m home. If Chuck is canceled, I will give up on T.V. network sitcoms. I believe its one of the best out there.
It is all because of these damn Reality shows, that take all the credit and if it were in my shoes, I would cancel them instead.

downloads for chuck from eztv.it during the second season have almost doubled from 45k to well over 100k and even up to 160k in one instance during the second season. This indicates that Chuck is receiving much more recognition and that its fan base is getting bigger and bigger. As an international viewer of Chuck its great to hear this has gotten a second season and i hope for many more as well

Chuck is one the very few shows nowadays that has so much to offer, the cast has great chemistry especially chuck and sarah, (and casey?) hahaha love him btw, and it just keeps on getting better and better so please don’t cancel it!!! I haven’t watched Chuck very long, and it’s one of the few shows i watch. If it were to be canceled that would suck. In my opinion the episodes keep getting better, and I think if you are a true Chuck fan you would watch it every week. I will be mad if they cancel it. I would probably never watch NBC again because compared to other shows out there it is one of the better ones.

I just rented the very first disc of this series from blcokbuster, and I’m madly in love. The guy checking it out to me said, “Enjoy. This is about to be cancelled”, so I had to check online.

So glad to hear the axe hasn’t fallen yet. In the meantime, I have catching up to do.

I wish there was more tv like chuck (like kyle xy- abc famiily made me mad when they canceled kyle and did not even give the show a proper ending- i am your brother- what kind of ending is that for a show.)

“Think Heroes will save you?”

That big budget monster is a money pit. NBC being at the bottom of the comedy heap, should allow more than 3 episodes before immediately deciding to dump. he “kids” at the helmn are acting like 4 year olds…
They want instant massive ratings. Now that Heroes is fading fast (as I knew it would) like four years olds running programming, instead of putting development assets & cash into a relatively inexpensive wonderful 25-50 demo show (where the biggest money demographic is) like Chuck, they Stuck it inappropriately in front of Heroes (with a much younger DEMO than they assumed). Stupid moronic programming.
Chuck & Medium have the same Demo. Heroes is the scewball show out of place. Move Heroes and put something to tie Chuck to Medium & NOW you got a Monday night. Stop watching the numbers like chimpanzees. Look for good writing, staying power, long term potential, low to medium budget (30 Rock) and NBC will have a chance…
Chuck has an excellent ensemble cast, & is a great comedy/action/fun show + eye candy for the guys… like me.

I will stop watching NBC all together if they Cancel Chuck… Chuck has become my all time favorite show, and if NBC cancelit because it can’t measure up to all that crappy reality tv its been spewing out for the last 5 or 6 yrs, well then they have offically lost a veiwer. Do the right thing, Keep Chuck on the air…

Maybe you should adjust the time slot so it does not compete with other favorite shows like house, prison break and so on. Pour rating comes from lack of planning of show times.

Chuck is the only TV I watch on Mondays. Tuesday I watch Biggest Loser. The rest of the week I don’t watch TV. The cr@p that they try to pass off as entertainment, and now they don’t believe Chuck is entertaining enough?!?

Come on, NBC, let us keep Chuck. If you didn’t keep taking it off the air for months at a time, people would be more apt to watch it when it is on.

I swear if Chuck gets cancelled this early, I’m boycotting network television and am sticking with Showtime & HBO for my entertainment needs.

Dexter, Weeds, The Tudors… even the mini-series such as John Adams, the new Spielberg/Tom Hanks WWII one…

NBC!! This is your chance! Don’t bend to the needs of the lowest common denominator. Please keep Chuck running for as long as you can and stop pushing out crap like Survivor, Dancing with the Stars and Celebrity (insert crap thing to do with second rate celebrities). Not necessarily NBC craptastic shows I just listed here, but you get the point. I’m sick of “reality” Television.

Right now, I follow precisely 3 shows on NBC – Heroes, Chuck, and Life (and I’ve lost track of Life since it left Monday night). Chuck and Heroes are ‘appointment TV’ – nothing gets scheduled at those times.

Chuck is the only show my husband and I watch together. With all of the TV I watch swirling down the cancel drain, Chuck is one of the only shows I truly enjoy during the week. So much so, I am hunting on the internet when the next new episode will air. Come on NBC, pay for some better advertising and get people interested again so the show isn’t cancelled!

Chuck is the best show I’ve ever seen on NBC, and currently my favorite show on TV right now. I’m always excited for the next episode, but it hasn’t been on in about 1 month. Now that it’s Jan. 2009, Chuck is getting more and more likely to decide whether or not it’s going to be renewed or cancelled. I eally hope it’s not cancelled. I am a huge chuck fan, I was online looking up stuff about Chuck and read that it is a ripe off of Jake 2.0 “the so called better show”. Well I have watch a couple of Jake 2.0 now and it is a horrible show. I like the second episode were they keep reusing the same car scenes over and over with in minutes of each other. One time the cars went in the other directions but instead of shooting another scene they just inverted the footage (Backwards License Plates). I also like the sound effects when he controllers computers WOW it is great. The only 2 good things I can see that came from this show is that it is filmed in Vancouver BC so it supported Canadian film production, and Chuck if you can really say Chuck is a ripe off of Jake 2.0. The 2 shows remind me of the apple ads with the losser PC guy (jake) and the cool mac (chuck)

Hi, Chuck is a great show, a little of everything, a little of comedy, a little of action, a little of love story. Just what we really need for a very tensed and breath taking sad reality. I think it should’nt be pulled out much more it should be continued for more seasons. I love this series and Kudos to all the characters. They are all perfect for the role.

Advertisers will pay lots of extra cash to reach them. That’s how Prison Break can charge $200,000 per ad, despite mediocre total viewer numbers. (As noted elsewhere on this site, Chuck was the most DVRed show on the week of 1/21, which could be another indication that the young adult demo is keen on it, because that demo is really into DVRs.)

Also, virtually all of NBC’s other new shows have tanked. After episode #2, Chuck basically maintained its demos each week. Meanwhile, American Gladiators and Bionic Woman seemed like big hits at first, but over time, their ratings went into free-fall. This makes Chuck look more valuable to NBC.

So, from a business standpoint, I’d say Chuck is a solid RENEW for NBC at this point. Word is, they ARE renewing it, and it’ll be back in fall 2008.

If it were on Fox, it might be different. Thank goodness it ain’t.

The downside is that we can DEFINITELY expect NBC to interfere with the show, creatively, in a lame-brained attempt to improve the ratings. This usually spells disaster.

I adore Chuck. Sure the concept is farfetched but I like the characters (bring back the Changs), the humor and espicially Zachery Levi. Chuck will grow (if he survives) into the man he should have been. I especially love his relationships with his sister and Cpt. Awesome and with the crazy gang at the buy more. Morgan has even grown on me. Keep the characters moving forward let the spyworld beware. I do believe Chuck will need an “update” to his database from time to time. Courious to see how the pull that off.

Chuck is a solid show with good actors and lots of plot material. In a world where one major technology store is dominant and that “culture” of the retail-worker is well known, the show is a refreshing mix of comedy, wit, as well as sci-fi technology, spies, and geeks.

The best new NBC show, God help us if they replace this with yet another law and order or CSI.. because we need 8 shows of each. Not to knock those shows, but it is getting a bit ridiculous. I hope this show doesn’t die because of this writers strike. No new shows are posted yet by NBC…

Chuck is my favorite show on TV right now. I recorded it all the time and watched the very next day as soon as i had time to. I love the actors in it and its really funny. It has action too and a very beautiful girl i might add. I think that if they were going to replace it they would do it with something a little more appealing than American Gladiator. The show is terrible and nowhere near the show it was back when. But Chuck needs to stay on air cause its a show that i believe could take off into something great.

Honestly, Chuck could be a major hit if it retooled a bit. As it caters to the nerd/geek culture, or is meant to, it should be far more accurate in terms of the technology involved. Another problem would be its lack of what I like to call badassery. No self respecting nerd (myself included) would want to see our people shown as a whiny little wimp with barely the ability to take care of himself. Some of us are actually pretty tough, yet give us a broken pc and it’s as good as fixed.

CHUCK IS THE ONLY SHOW I WATCH. If NBC dumps it I’m dumping NBC. Chuck is the only show worth watching. After I’m done writing this I’m going to the NBC website and telling them what I think. I encourage everyone who loves the show to do the same. With enough emails maybe we can get through to them.

The guy was uploaded with info 2 months ago, yet he knows stuff that happened two days ago? WTF?

And how lame is a spy show where (a) the spies and bad guys suck (one kick and apparently they disappear), (b) the dangers are hokey and stupid, (c) every time they get into a pinch, one guy suddenly knows how to solve it because he’s was given information 2 months ago.

The ONLY thing this show has is a hot girl. And she’s only hot if she keeps her mouth closed. Once she opens it, her messed up teeth get in the way.

Cancel this crap.
