I discovered Supernatural after meeting Jared Padalecki at a Fangoria Convention in Austin, Texas. I rushed to the store and bought season 1, and was hooked! A few days later, I bought season 2, and turned my mom on to the show as well. Jared is one of the sweetest people. The cast, crew, and fx team on this show are unbelievable. Supernatural is the best!

Supernatural is the best damn scifi show on TV! It’s consistently better than Heroes, Smallville, Lost, Fringe, etc. etc. I love how all the major plot lines are wrapped up in one season, yet they are still able to come up with great new story lines every season. The acting is great, the supporting cast are all well written, it’s incredibly hilarious at times, and really creepy at times too. I’m glad there are still creative shows like this on TV. I LOVE THIS SHOW!!!

man its really funny that people dont watch Supernatural much over in the states. As far as i know it has a huge cult following in WA. ive gotten so addicted im wandering around all week waiting for the next epidsode. cant wait to see what season 4 is gonna be like (only two eps aired in Aus so far) but looks promising.

Hi Maria, I’m not yet sure what I’m going to do with show specific ratings this year, but between trying to upgrade the site and keep it up and running and being on the verge of a residential move, I probably won’t get that figured out for another couple of weeks. Sorry.

I think all you can do is keep telling everyone you know that you love the show (and of course, talk it up on the Internet)…

This is one of the best shows I have come across. The story develops and thickens more and more every season. The episode that I just got finished watching, the 3rd of season 4, had me in awe the way they continue to develope and create a great story. It is the only show i have ever seen that I feel gets better as the seasons progress, as opposed to Smallville and One Tree Hill.

This show needs much more credit, for it is actually good and doesnt waste my time with useless episodes.. everyone reveals something anymore. Im hooked!

This show is just amazing, i love the plot and the story is great… One more week…i really cant wait for the fourth season to begin, i’ve watched the show since it first aired, and it’s just great to see how its popularity grows, it really sucks that the CW is the only channel that airs it. it’s not getting the advertisement it deserves.

There's no doubt in my mind that Supernatural doesn't get the credit it deserves. It has, by far, the best general plot and story line of the shows currently airing, and also the best cast. Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles are better than perfect for the roles of the Winchester brothers and hot and charming co-stars such as Alona Tal and Lauren Cohan make the show so much better. Also, give credit to all the Writers (especially Sera Gamble) and ofcourse, the catalyst and creater of the show, Eric Kripke.
Five stars for Supernatural, the best show of our time.

cant wait till season 4 not long now he he.
and its not just a show for girls as my boyfriend likes it almost as much as me x

You’re certainly entitled to your opinion, but if those are two reasons not to watch this show, then you probably shouldn’t watch Smallville, 24, or any one of a number of shows. Here’s a fact: TV shows are mostly fictional. By watching them, you are automatically accepting the writers’, producers’ and actors’ unspoken request to suspend reality a little bit. Obviously, if TV were produced in “real time,” it would take days or weeks to complete one story line – and *that’s* not realistic. Who cares if it *appears* that Sam and Dean can dig up a grave in a matter of hours, or that they “miraculously” heal from life-threatening injuries? Honestly, who knows how much time has *really* passed? So, if you have a problem with that, ecm, you probably shouldn’t be watching TV at all. That’s my opinion.

The show’s rating problem is simple. It is silly. The most miraculous events are not part of the show’s “supernatural” story lines.

Among them -

The characters often manage to dig up graves – moving over 200 cubic feet of dirt – in just a few hours with only a simple shovel and without breaking a sweat.

The characters are often in physical conflicts – but never show any lasting affects from the obvious injuries. For example, in the Christmas episode, one character had a finger nail ripped out forcibly. Yet, he appeared a day or two later without a bandage on his hand.

I completely agree with Maria. People watching “mainstream” network shows really don’t know what they’re missing. This show has focused on a lot of issues and themes, but it always comes back to what Sam and Dean will do to save one another. Not only is the show about family, it’s got guns, wars, bars, cars and some awesome dialogue. It’s a totally phenomenal show… and I hope nothing ever happens to jeopardize it. So keep watching, SPN fans, and encourage everyone you know to watch it too. We have the power to keep it going strong… despite its network.

You got that right “MARIA” this is the best show on telivision and who ever didnt get a chance to watch it or didn’t want to they sho is missing out.. Bet if this show was on ABC, FOX,CBS, and NBC it would of been the most watch show but oh well. It’s a shame that they do not take into account other countries when they take into account the popularity of a show. I live outside of the US and it did take me time to get into Supernatural. When I did however I went out and bought both season 1 and 2 boxets and sat down and watched it. It would be a shame to stop a show like this. But I’m glad it’s got a fourth season as I’m interested to see if Sam will take a roadtrip to the Devil’s Gate.

CW only can blame themselves for not promoting Supernatural enough and not schedule it in a better time slot. It’s such a good show.. people who watch it actually watch it rather than just having it on and doing something else.. Show like this deserve more attention.. I think CW exec are possessed by demons!

Wow, It is too bad that the world is only tuned to three major stations.( ABC, CBS, and NBC) And it is too bad that the show Supernatural does not air on one of them. Because if it did…….. Everyone would know what they’re missing. It really can not be judged by one episode though, you really need to have started watching from the begining to truely appreciate it. Although, some of the episodes do stand alone without knowing the whole story. But ,at least I have had the good fortune of being able to find and watch a show that is intelligent, funny, emotional, intense and spooky. Also, it has one of the most real and wonderful portrayal of a sibling relationship that I have ever seen. Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki do an amazing job playing these two brothers. Thank you to Eric Kripke (the creator) and all the writers, producers, directors. and the crew. Those of you who don’t watch for whatever reason…………it is your loss.
Also, it is nice to finally find something to watch that does not insult my intelligence.
(sorry if that sounded condescending but it’s true)

I turned on my Tv a couple of weeks ago Thursday at 9PM to watch my favorite show ever, Supernatural, and it wasn’t on. I kept this up for a few weeks and discovered Reaper in its place. After reading all of the e-mails above I was pleased to see it was renewed for a fourth season, however, when will this be? My husband is oversees in Afhganistan and it is so funny because the first words out of his mouth when he calls home is, “did you find out when supernatural will be on again”, its not hey how are you and the kids! Its a good thing I love the show so much or I might take offense, ha ha. So could you please, please, get back to me and give me a date. Also should I be worried that Reaper is taking Supernaturals place permanantely? Please let me know, Thanks, Shannon Greguras

Advertising works. As I look at the numbers above, I think all of the highest rated shows had fair amount of advertising time on The CW during other shows. I know that’s the case for Bedtime Stories and Jus in Bello. Hmmmm, advertise a show and viewers will turn in…interesting concept.
