chuck.jpg NBC has ordered 9 more episodes of both "Chuck" and "Life". Because of the writers strike, it's not clear how the scripts are going to get written or when the episodes will be produced, but this will come as good news to all the fans engaged in our Chuck: Renew or Cancel? discussion.

Chuck is by far one of my favorite shows! Please keep it going

Chuck and Life are 2 of to the 3 main shows I watch and really enjoy. Life's quality and storylines surprised me. Chuck is just one of te better 1 hour comedys I've seen in a while. I am so glad there will be more shows coming. Now if only CBS orders more episodes of Moonlight I will be ecstatic!! :)

Chuck is an absolute riot. It's a huge breath of fresh air, and although the ratings aren't superb, I feel that if it just hangs in there that it will catch on. People are really starting to get sick of the reality wave and I feel that Chuck is coming into the TV swing at a great time. I feel that this show is the new and innovative direction AWAY FROM REALITY!!!!
CBS is ignorant if they don't see this hit. More and more people will watch it every week. I've been telling everyone I know!

    Haha I mean NBC! :-P

CHUCK…please NBC don't cancel this show. It is one of the ''nicest'' new shows on TV.A nice little love story, comedy that makes me laff out loud, a diverse bunch of characters and action…well who cares about that. I look forward to this every Mon nite for a feelgood night.

I Love both Chuck and Life. They are both refreshing new additions. Chuck is hysterical, Life is quirky and the casting in both is excellent. Now that DWTS is gone, hopefully more ppl will watch Chuck. Both shows are quality TV.

Life is a very well written and acted show. The quirkiness seems to successfully leverage from Monk (which is similar in some ways, but without the edginess of Life).

I'm personally stunned at the advertising that the network has done for Chuck, which I find to be less intelligent or entertaining than watching the same episode of the Three Stooges repeatedly. How they've invested so much in this show and nearly nothing in Journeyman which they will let die on the vine in a horrible time slot escapes me. The talent pool in scheduling must have left when the hit shows left NBC.

NBC has had an uncanny knack to pick up shows that nobody wants to see, but also among the shows they pick up, they invest heavily in the DOA shows like Bionic Woman and now Chuck.

Is there a rule at NBC that they must avoid any inkling of quality in shows they promote?
