ABC took Friday night in both viewers and the 18-49 demographic with strong outings (for Friday night) with a rerun of The Polar Express and 20/20. NBC took the 8pm hour with Deal or No Deal and CBS ran a special about the Grammys two months before the Grammys! Friday Night Smackdown! performed as well as always for The CW. FOX's Next Great American Band also peformed as well as always, which is not good at all.
