Fox without American Idol is really not doing all that well. Not that it's a surprise.

They didn't try huge marketing blitzes and therefore didn't come across as poorly as NBC with Bionic Woman, but their fall season has been just as unimpressive.

Rena, Fox has had their best fall in years. They are the only English broadcast network with a viewer increase year over year, and their position relative to where they usually end the fall is much better than in recent years.

That, plus the fact that Idol will have significantly weaker competition because of the strike, pretty much guarantees Fox will win the year going away.

I was talking about their new Fall shows which have all tanked essentially.

What caused the ratings upsurge? Was it baseball? House? I can't think on anything of Fox that's doing significantly better than last year.

I'd have to do some digging to figure out exactly where the increases for Fox occurred. If I have some time, though, I'll look at it.

Thanks Bill! I'm really curious because I had noted that Fox was doing better than everyone else year-to-year, but I can't put my finger on what did better than last year.
