According to Nielsen, people did actually watch TV on Christmas. But we're guessing almost all of the new HDTVs were in screensaver mode by primetime hours after watching 8 hours of NBA. Only NBC had any new content last night, 2 hours of holiday-filled Deal or No Deal. A nice little stocking-stuffer for Jeff Zucker though, it was enough for the peacock to win the night.
