Our second week of charting the "Strike Effect" has Fox continuing to drift back towards its 2006-7 levels, while ABC and CBS remain down about the same amount vs. last year as they have been all season. NBC continues to recover towards last year's levels after a dreadful start to the season.

Our "Strike Effect" chart shows broadcast network primetime season to date ratings for the 2007-8 season compared to the 2006-7 season.

NBC is 12% versus last year, which was an awful year for them.

I think it's kind of out of place for Ben Silverman and Jeff Zucker to crow about such awful results.

Fox is trending back to norm, which makes sense since the uptick was all baseball and not their regular programming.

CW is the most amazing case of owner paralysis. Its numbers on most night would embarrass a major cable network but there still hasn't been a major round of layoff in the executive ranks.
