Football dominated the rankings this week, with the Giants vs. Cowboys overrun into primetime Sunday night taking the top spot, followed by Saturday night's primetime playoff where the Patriots beat the Jaguars to improve to 17-0
Chargers of San Diego upset the Indianapolis Colts, and the BCS final between LSU and Ohio State. The debut of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles and a new episode of on CBS rounded out the top 5.
I think it's a week that clearly demonstrates both the opporunity that exists for the networks and the lousy job they have done creating programming that LOTS of people want to watch. The gap between the #1 show and the #20 show is over 21 million viewers.
Also of note: more people per screen must watchthan 's . 's had a higher household (11.6 to 's 11.2) but had more viewers. CBS landed two re-runs in the top 20 with Two and Half Men and .
