A few more nights like last night and it may not take FOX as long as Bill thought it would to surpass CBS in the season-to-date ratings. FOX easily won this night averaging over 25 million viewers from 8pm-10pm. picked up some steam versus last week and in the second half hour had over 30 million viewers. When a new episode of House aired at 9pm, it kept more than 2/3rds the viewership with its best performance of the year. House averaged over 22 million viewers and while overnight results are subject to change, since its previous best for the season was 18.31 million, it should be easily eclipsed.
FOX's dominance leaves me with little to say about anything else that aired. Consider that the best performing program in the 10pm hour, when FOX was off the air was a repeat of Law & Order:, that didn't nearly have even half as many viewers as House. Sure, NBC will brag about winning the hour and coming in second in the demo, but as they like to say at the Peacock network, "What the Zuck!" We'll show you all the data anyway.
