While American Idol's bloom is off the rose and ratings for the season, at least on a viewer basis are down ~16% versus last year, it's still quite the franchise. Between Idol and the last new episode of House, FOX dominated in total viewers and the 18-49 demographic, especially up against all the Super Tuesday Election coverage.
CBS ran a repeat of NCIS, then 2 hours of election coverage. ABC ran with all three hours focusing on election results and NBC ran a 2 hour installment of The Biggest Loser, followed by an hour of election coverage.
Over on the CW was a rerun of Reaper and a new episode of One Tree Hill, which given everything performed pretty well.
