Sorry Pamela, I respectfully disagree with you. SVU was a re-run and it's my understanding that Boston Legal will be going back into re-runs next week as well due to the effects of the now concluded writers strike. Had Jericho been put there under "normal" circumstances, I would agree, but I think in the current scenario, it has a good shot. Of course, I'm a "Ranger" and I'm biased though...

Sorry Peter, I misunderstood you. I think it needs to do at least 10 millionish in that slot. Consider that a rerun of Law & Order: SVU did over 9 million in that slot 2 weeks ago.

I think it needs to do much better than 48 Hours Mystery, probably by 33% because 48 Hours Mystery is much cheaper to make.

I was thinking 9 million would be enough, but I just got into the ratings game. So at this point, I'm still picking it up. How much do you think they'd need for a pickup?

Peter, I disagree. It needs to do much better than 7 million or it will not be back for season 3, at least not on CBS.

It might not be a great timeslot but I think all Jericho needs to do is improve on 48 hours which is getting around 7 million viewers every week. That's pretty much the same as what Jericho was averaging at the long haul last season. So hopefully Jericho picked up a million or 2 more fans and that would be around what it was averaging before it's winter hiatus. I definitely think it has a chance to perform well and prove itself.

CBS knows Jerich has no chance of succeeding and where it ended up is a great example.
Tuesday Night at 10:00 is a killer timeslot and sorry do not see Jericho being a survival series despite the 'nutty' campaign.
While a million fans sent in 'nuts' it will take much more than that to keep the show on !!

I just finished up on Jericho, but as my internet isn't too speedy, Innertube wasn't much of an option as it skips like it has a full time job. If anyone's having the same trouble I am, you can find almost all the episodes at 66stage. You can't truly go full screen, but it can get pretty big using the 'full screen' link under each video. Here's the first episode and the links to all the others are along the right hand side

Here's the first episode and the links to all the others are along the right hand side

http://66stage.com/tv.php?pl=meg&url=NQP49ZEM
