While the Super Tuesday election coverage was so little watched on broadcast television that it didn't merit a mention in the weekly top broadcast shows, the story was a little different on cable where four shows (3 CNN, one FOX News Channel) made the top ten.
It wasn't enough to best, which claimed the top two spots, or Disney's Chicken Little, but coverage on CNN narrowly bested . It's not that more people don't care about the elections, so don't be mortified that more people watched . More people didn't watch , it's just that the election coverage was spread out over many channels (broadcast and cable).
Would I rather live in a country where CNN or FOX could've bestedwith Super Tuesday coverage anyway? Given the candidates on either side - no. I'd rather watch ! And I never watch WWE RAW.
makes the list for Bravo at number 10 and our squarepanted friend could put but 6 airings on the list this week. Zoey 101 was back to its normal 3.5 millionish, however to be honest as I don't watch the show, and the Nielsen data doesn't indicate it, I can't be sure whether it was a first-run airing or a repeat. If any Zoey fans are out there and know, please chime in.
Note to Nip Tuck fans, it ranked 14th on a cable HH ratings basis, but in viewers it ranked 27th.
