Thank goodness the 2008 NBA All Star Game in New Orleans scored more viewers than our square panted friend, or I can't imagine the smack I would have had to talk about Lebron and the rest of the NBA All Stars! It was a great game and I'm excited for this year's playoff run and playoffs.
The NBA All Star game took the top spot and the dunk contest and other action on Saturday night placed in 3rd. The pregame festivities even made the top 5 coming in at number four. Monk was in 2nd for the week with both hours of WWE: RAW in 5th and 6th. Psych was in 7th, and our pal SpongeBob could do no better than 8th (and 9th, and 10th, and 12th, and 13th, and 14th, and 16th, with a reariring of the SpongeBob movie in 19th).
Project Runway came in 11th for Bravo.
For the NBA All Star Game, ratings were up around 30% vs. last year's game (also on TNT) held in Las Vegas that drew 4.85 million viewers. This year's contest drew 6.3 million, ending five straight years of ratings declines for the matchup.
