Keith Is a bore and a hack. His continuous lab eling of Bill Orielly as the “worst person in the world” makes him the “worst person in his world” forever !!

KEITH OVERBITE HAS A BAD TOUPEE

I view the Olbermann show much like a commuter speeding thru traffic, surfing from one relevant news broadcast to another, stopping only for a moment to glance at his car wreck of show. KO has become the journalism equivalent to the interstate fender bender-much do about nothing. He simply slows our daily commute in search of trust worthy information. Lighten up and stop pretending to be a newscaster chuckleehad-you're boring the crap out of us!

    Obama in 08- I believe!

Well said Rob. KO commits the biggest crime of all on prime time TV-he's boring! That's why his ratings suck. Stop blaming the time slot (Fox News/The Daily Show) for bad numbers Keith! Your numbers suck because YOU suck. We don't like YOU. MSNBC needs to recognize that Keith is a very unlikable dude-arrogant and elitist-and move on to a brighter personality. Btw, what's with his “good night and good luck” tag line at the end of each show? Is his plagiarism of 60's era broadcaster Edward R. Murrow's signature sign-off Keith’s weak-ass attempt to attach credibility to his show? Write your own damn material, dude. Seriously.

Murrow's program was in the 50s, Toddy

  • rex phillips

I submit Toddy for Worst Person of the World on Keith's show

KO is a sanctimonious ass who secretly hates his audience. He hates you and think you're stupid.

God forbid Obama not win the white house this year. KO will lead the charge on accusations of republican voting fraud. Never mind that we never heard a word from him last year when the Dems won both the House and Senate in close races. The “process” apparently worked then.

KO is a one trick pony and that trick is Bill-O. elitist like him live to put folks down (ala world's worst person) and O'reilly is his current punching bag. Ever why KO never has anything postive (ever) on his show? Even his “best person in the world” is a negative portrait on someone

  • marc

yep. keith is a clown, no doubt, but still fun to mock-our guilty pleasure!

It's a little like dynamite fishing thought, isn't it?

Do you folks think for yourselves? No, lambs, Fox and O'Reilly do NOT offer truly contrasting viewpoints, and NO, Fox is NOT fair and balanced, etc.

Fox has “token” guests who put up nominally contrasting viewpoints to O'Reilly, et al. However, they are very careful to not book “strong”, well spoken and articulate democrats and progressives. These “democratic strategists” that O'Reilly books are unknown within the Dem party. They're just foils for his line. Haven't any of you people seen “Outfoxed”?

Yes, KO usually has two liberal voices to every one conservative voice. But I would say that on his show you will get serious and sincere issue analysis. Fox shows are usually about “is Obama a muslim??”… In addition, this is the ONLY venue on TV where progressives get better time than conservatives. The “liberal media” is cipher. A lie. It's owned by big MNCs (Jerry Sinclair knows a fact or two, even if his analysis of them is poor). You think they want to wrankle the powers that be? You are served by the worst media in the developed world, about equal with Mexico and Brazil (and they're arguably not developed; developing more like it). And Fox isn't the best of the worst, it's the worst of the worst. It is truly fascistic: a alliance of business and political interests to serve each other.

Yeah, KO has his entertainment sketches, but the majority of KO's show is true news and sincere news analysis. He does have a liberal perspective. But calling him “liberal” does not serve to undermine what is usually good analysis.

Oh, by the way. O'Reilly and KO's ratings are quite competitive in the “money” demographic (ages 25-54). See the dotted lines at the bottom.

That towering red line that belongs to O'Reilly = really old people. Like, >70.

And although BO usually beats KO by 15-20% (which still equals a competitive race, and it should be said that KO beats BO intermittently), advertisers are very happy to advertise on KO because his audience tends to be, no kidding, more highly educated (KO viewers are more likely to have a bachelors & masters degrees, etc.) and have higher incomes.
