Omar fits into the LOST mode nicely because he's a murderous guy with a code of conduct. Can he easily be pegged as purely evil or good? No way!<br><br>Plus it would reprise one of the greatest roles ever. Plus, believe me, that would sell some The Wire DVDs -- oh yeah. There's a lot of $$$ to be made out of that move if they could fit it in creatively. I disagree somewhat about Omar. Creative people aren't always the best capitalists! I'm trying to bridge the gap (unfortunately I'm neither great at being creative or a capitalist, but still). Certainly if you're looking for a quick and easy “deus ex machina” wrap-up, Omar can provide that, but there's another way to look at this.

Omar has a code of contact where he'll only gun down “the bad guy” (the scene with Brother Mizzone was classic!). It might take Omar two full seasons of LOST to figure out who is truly good and truly bad! In “the game” that's a bit more clear cut.
