Is this the first time we'll be seeing BSG air in HD on the Sci-Fi HD channel?

Oh, and one more thing. Wow, we have totally gone off topic with this one :-)

I Love BSG, but I HATE the episodes that don't advance the overall storyline. When will it be back and have they scheduled Caprica yet?

I so want to ditch LOST, but I have a friend who shows up every week to make sure I don't. I was hoping this episode would make me say, "Oh, it's not as spun out as I thought" but I was underwhelmed by far. I thought it was really slow. I guess we learned some but mostly, I was just well, back to not caring. We learned Ben's Goon is gay. I guess that was a little fillip. Benry is still pushing everyone's buttons (I tell you what, the infallible Benry while, yes, a great evil guy, is part of LOST's downfall for me. I do not understand why everyone still does what he asks, and I am really tired of the omniscient thing. I mean "Benry knows all" gets old. Totally saw Carl and Mom getting blown away from the moment Alex was given the map. I mean, yeah, he'll protect her, but I he's been itching to get rid of the other two for ages. And what is with the month off? I thought the deal was for 16 straight shows? Whatever. If my friend ever stops showing up on my doorstep, I imagine I won't miss being spun out like a crack whore on mystery but no answers.

I could live with an ending where Omar takes out Ben and then Hugo takes out Omar (run him over with the VW microbus?). Hugo is presumably (other than the "children") the only purely good person on the island.

Yeah, as David Simon once said, Omar has a code, but ultimately he IS a bad guy. He kills people.

I mean, I totally agree with you that it would probably take Omar two or more seasons to figure out who's good and who's bad on the island, but when he does he would definitely have an upper hand on the master of manipulation, Ben. I mean, he's f****** Omar! And in my book, Omar>>>Ben any day! :-)

I disagree somewhat about Omar. Creative people aren't always the best capitalists! I'm trying to bridge the gap (unfortunately I'm neither great at being creative or a capitalist, but still). Certainly if you're looking for a quick and easy "deus ex machina" wrap-up, Omar can provide that, but there's another way to look at this.

Omar has a code of contact where he'll only gun down "the bad guy" (the scene with Brother Mizzone was classic!). It might take Omar two full seasons of LOST to figure out who is truly good and truly bad! In "the game" that's a bit more clear cut. Omar fits into the LOST mode nicely because he's a murderous guy with a code of conduct. Can he easily be pegged as purely evil or good? No way!

Plus it would reprise one of the greatest roles ever. Plus, believe me, that would sell some The Wire DVDs -- oh yeah. There's a lot of $$$ to be made out of that move if they could fit it in creatively.

ahhahaa, Omar on LOST! If he ended up on the island, the show would end in, like, 2 episodes because everybody would die by the hand of one of the greatest characters on TV. Ever. All in the game! I mean, the guy jumped out of a window and survived! Too bad we didn't get to see a Omar-Marlo showdown.

You should really check out Friday Night Lights, it's an amazing show. I hope it gets renewed for a third season, this DirecTV-NBC deal better go through.

I need to check out Friday Night Lights! I love the overarching story of BSG, but the show itself...I was kinda eh on almost all of season 3. Dexter is just plain fun - love it. And I agree with The Wire gone, LOST shoots to the top of my list.

I'd love it if the LOST writers could figure out a way to have The Wire's Omar wake up, sawed-off shotgun in hand, on the island not quite dead after being popped by a little 9 year old hopper!

Not gonna happen, but fun to think about!

Indeed it is. It's going to be a very long month waiting for just 5 new episodes and then, like a 9 month long hiatus waiting for season 5. Damn. LOST is truly one of the best shows ever, with The Wire gone, it just might be my number 1 show of the moment. It probably won't ever dethrone The Wire, but it will be a close second.

1. The Wire
2. LOST
3. Friday Night Lights
4. Battlestar Galactica
5. Dexter

LOST is truly one of the best shows ever, with The Wire gone, it just might be my number 1 show of the moment. Battlestar Galactica<br>5. Dexter
