since the writers strike i have been waiting to hear something about this particular show,i come to find out the show has been cancelled.I must say how much of a disappointment this is to me.I never missed an episode on Tuesday nights.Everyday of the week i had a certain show i would make time for,and not to miss.Now i can see why i had one favorite show on CBS.I will never watch your station again.I may be only one person with this opinion, and you all could give a damn, but the way i see it is if only one person can make a statement like this then maybe i could make a difference, but like i said i’m only one person.I’ve been watching ABC shows for a long time ,now i know why.

CBS did not give Cane a real chance! The writer strike did not help. But here is the reality. I watched Cane from the very first episode. I was telling everyone how great this show is. I am 43 years of age. My parents who are in their 60′s. Were watching the show and loving it. We are all just waiting to see who killed Ken Howard. Then you tell us Cane is cancelled. At least for Moonlight you wrapped the show up with tidy series finally. What about Cane do we rate at least a series finally??? CBS has made a mistake. WE WANT CANE BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’m also done with CBS, they get you hooked on new shows and then cancel them. With all the reality crap on tv these days, you finally get great shows like Cane and Moonlight, only to have them yanked.

CBS has to bring CANE back!!!! I LOVE this show!!! The series had just started and then the strike. Anything with Jimmy Smits is GREAT!! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE bring back CANE. You can’t just leave Alex in jail. This is one of the best shows in years by far. The story lines are wonderful and all the characters have depth. So in case I have not made my self clear—-PLEASE bring back CANE!!!!!! I am a 38 yo white female and I love this show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I enjoy watching all three of those CBS shows; Moonlight, Jericho and Cane. But I only watch them online! Hopefully online viewers are counted, too, when it comes to the ratings.

I loved Cane and Moonlight. Jerico is too depressing to watch. Out of all three, Cane was my favorite. It is the next Dallas. CBS would be stupid not to revive the series. I love Moonlight alot too, but if I had to chose between the two, it would be Cane.

I can’t believe it. CBS cancelled my favorite show. I’m so sick of them bringing out stupid shows with very thin plots and no character and then they bring out Moonlight which is loved by many. Moonlight wins people’s choice award and CBS cancells it.
I kind of took that as a spit in the eye. I’m devastated. I will miss CSI and Ghost Whisperer but I’m sick of CBS. Bring Moonlight back or I’m done.

I’m still shocked that CBS would even possibly consider ending Moonlight. Cane, too? I was thinking it was Shark that got canceled.. is that not true? When I saw this post on Happy Horror I couldn’t believe my eyes. I mean we get few enough good shows dealing with scarier supernatural stuff so why end this one since it’s doing so well? I just don’t get it.

CBS really gets me mad hell all the networks get me angry it seems like everyshow you like or get into they cancel. Since Angel was cancelled i thought there wasnt gonna be another “vampire” show i could get into then this came about and I was hooked and yet again an awesome show gets cancelled and the sad thing is is that it is probably gonna get replaced by some crappy reality tv show. The writers strike really screwed over a lot of tv shows and this awesome show is one of them. Well I hope that CBS reconsiders and makes a smart move.

Moonlight is the best show I have seen in years and I sincerely hope that it gets renewed. It has everything excitement, mystery, action and romance. Where else can you find all of that these days. It would be a real shame if they cancelled it. If they do cancel the show I will stop watching the CBS network / any shows all together.

Cane was a great show and it never really got a chance. I don’t understand how these shows never get a chance to establish themselves. Cane was actually the only show we watch on CBS. Goodbye CBS. I agree with Patricia, why bother watching new shows when they are yanked off the air so quickly. It’s time to find better things to do with my time.

I just sent an email to CBS indicating that the people indicated what they thought of Moonlight by giving it a People’s Choice Award. CBS indicated what they think of their viewers by canceling it. Bye-bye CBS. I’ll really miss CSI and Criminal Minds, but I’m not going to waste my time watching shows on a station that doesn’t care anything about its viewers.

It appears that in fact all three shows will be canceled. Jericho and Cane have already been canceled and today it looks like Moonlight will be too. I took a chance on a CBS show as well with Moonlight (which I love!!) but if its canceled, I’m done with CBS. Thank you to NBC for going out of your way to save Friday Night Lights – that gets my loyalty.

I will be very upset with CBS again if they cancel Moonlight. After they cancelled Close to Home last year I came very close to not watching anymore brand new shows this season, but I took a chance on Moonlight and Cane. Cane was OK, but I love Moonlight. If they cancel, I will not watch any new shows next season. I’m tired of getting hooked on a show just to have it cancelled on me.

I DVR’ed all CANE episodes to watch, as i did during writers strike. We had a Cane night for 3 nights and watched all episodes aired. Our watchers are in the 35-45 range and really enjoyed
the show, actors and especially the writing. All the actors bring such reality to the show, i feel like i am watching a household filmed from life. I recognize and enjoy each actor from work before this but together they make this show seem effortless yet fantastic.The way the actors portray this family is so believable. Like a big family at a holiday dinner but every day. We all have some sort of jealousy or envy toward a sibling but to a man brought in the family from the outside makes it even more understandable. Having power can be a blessing and a curse but seeing Alex use it to protect his family is again, understandable.
We can only hope this drama is renewed so we can live through this families drama and problems that aren’t so far from reality. SAVE CANE!!!
