"DearMe" a regular TVbytheNumbers visitor and aspiring network executive asks if you could create a network made up of any shows you wanted, not based on making money but based on what you love to watch, what would your schedule be? It can include any show on broadcast or cable, and you can bring back cancelled shows from the dead.
I'm probably going to bring back Dallas, All in the Family and Sanford and Son, but...I'm old. I'll post my shows in the comments sooner or later. Feel free to add your own.

OMG this is too much exposure

do you want me to delete the post? If so, I certainly will do so. I wasn’t trying to make you uncomfortable, just giving you your props!

I modified the post. We have people going on and on (and on and on) about O’Reilly and Olbermann so we’re ok with general commenting. i just have a preference for trying to keep to topic and didn’t want that comment thread happening in one of the overnight posts. i thought it would be better to have a place to put them all.
I don’t have a problem with your comment frequency – and yeah, basically I get an email whenever there is a comment so i more or less see them immediately if I am in front of the computer. I’m off to lunch…post YOUR fantasy network since it was your idea! :p

I can tell u the current shows but cant disclose my scheduling strategies.
The Simpsons
HEROES
Ugly Betty
Pushing Daisies
The 4 NBC comedies
Samantha Who
MissGuided
Reaper
And the current pilots that I would pick up for the series are
DollHouse
Outnumbered, Spaced (I would pair them with MissGuided)

Oh my! That’s a tough one. I mean, if we have the entire catalog of TV out there… man, that’s a LOT of stuff. However, I’d put a lot of British TV on my station, unedited for length or content.
Here’s a preliminary list:
30 Rock
Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations
Ashes to Ashes
Battlestar Galactica
Big Love
Breaking Bad
Brotherhood
Chuck
Cold Feet
Damages
Dispatches
Entourage
Freaks and Geeks
Good Eats
Horizon
Hotel Babylon
It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia
Journeyman
Kingdom
Kitchen Nightmares (the UK version)
Lost
Mad Men
Meadowlands
Pushing Daisies
Samantha Who?
Saxondale
Spooks
The Border
The Hotel Inspector
The IT Crowd
The Office
The Riches
The Sarah Silverman Program
The Tudors
The Unit
The Universe
Undeclared
Veronica Mars
Weeds
And that’s just a start.
I’ve left off a) some shows that seem to have run their course (Dexter, Drop Dead Gorgeous, Sugar Rush); b) some shows that I like, but not enough to put them on my network (Reaper, Burn Notice, Californication); and c) a lot of canceled shows that I miss, but either only had a few episodes, or I’ve watched until they’re just run into the ground (Keen Eddie, Coupling).

Shows I watch and like now:
Chuck
How I Met Your Mother
Heroes
Medium
The Unit
Bones
Carpoolers
Pushing Daisies
Criminal Minds
The Office
Supernatural
LOST
Eli Stone
Women’s Murder Club
Las Vegas
Ghost Whisperer
Amazing Race
Biggest Loser
Shows I loved and would bring back:
Veronica Mars
ED
Love Monkey (I know this would present a problem because they both have Tom Cavanaugh, but I’d choose ED first.)
The Class (it was starting to hit it’s groove)
Now & Again
Murder in Small Town X
Shows I’d rerun in the morning and afternoons:
Scarecrow and Mrs. King
Profiler
Friends
Will & Grace
The Practice
Ally McBeal
Third Watch
Night Court
Perfect Strangers
Probably have an hour for WB shows that I would use to show all of one series, then all of another, and so on.
Possibly, rerun some of the old must She TV shows that ran on NBC (ie-Suddenly Susan, Caroline in the City, Naked Truth), but not all at the same time.
All I can think of at the moment.
