Disney's Hannah Montana has 619,000 DVR Viewers

For the week of March 17-23, 2008, Disney's blockbuster Hannah Montana was the top cable time-shifted show with an increase of 18.0% over its Live audience in its Live+7 viewing audience. It also had the largest time-shifted audience of 619,000 viewers.
Nickelodeon's Zoey 101 had an increase of 10.1% and 300,000 time-shifted viewers to place second in terms of % increase from DVR viewing, although it was bested for absolute time-shifted viewers by one WWE Raw episode at 374,000 and an episode of iCarly at 320,000. Filling out the top 10 were three episodes of SpongeBob, another WWE Raw, Ella Enchanted, and a Law And Order: Criminal Intent.
Quite an unusual occurrence in the cable time-shifting list this week are the two episodes of Fox News' The O'Reilly Factor at #13 and #19. I'll see if I can dig up what was on those shows on those two particular nights (Monday & Wednesday). I'm going to wager it was special guest interviews, because it's unheard of to see a regular news show timeshifted by even 2%.
Another cable movie makes the top 20 timeshifted list, last week it was Lifetime's Wisegals, this week it's TBS's Sahara. I timeshift movies occasionally myself, but most of my time-shifting is Live+SD just to fit the viewing into my schedule better. That's born out by our data. WWE Raw is a consistent top of the list resident, but otherwise it's typically mostly children's programming which makes sense. Folks are just storing up the shows their kids like to watch for when they're allowed to watch them.

Our time-shifting chart ranks which of the Top 40 cable shows had the largest % increase in viewing between Live audience and Live+7 audience numbers from viewers watching shows later on their digital video recorders (DVRs) as well as indicating the size of the audience that watched in the 7 days after the live show aired.
