I will be very disappointed if Boston Legal is not renewed. The episodes written by David Kelly personally provide the only place on TV that has the integrity to denounce the least ethical, least educated, least rational, least intelligent, least truthful, and most bigoted president America will ever have, along with his entire theofascist Taliban Gestapo. If “Bush-bashing” is a bad thing, then so is Hitler-bashing.

Guess Who and Mark are right on the money. People tune in to fiction shows for a little fantasy. If they want to talk hear what people have to say about the war in Iraq or the economy or whatever other political issue, they’ll tune into the news. Most of us don’t want to be ‘educated’ by Hollywood liberals who believe they are experts on a topic becaues they once ‘pretended really good’ to be affected by that topic. Going political is the kiss of death for TV shows. The day Lost reveals The Island is a consequence of global warming is the day the show begins a rapid downward spiral.

You gotta admit that the sub-prime has left tons of victims… why would you immediately go to ‘Liberals’ as bashing Bush on this one.

I think you just showed your true colors by politicizing a nationwide problem and getting ‘extremely’ defensive about it.

You may need to re-assess the color of glasses you’re wearing when you seem to be on the ‘extreme right’ of everything.

p.s. – according to world economists, the U.S. economy is in the worst shape since the depression and it is mainly because of Bush and Cheney’s policies on Economics, Energy, Monetary decisions and International Diplomacy… and that’s a fact.

Bush and Cheney (along with ‘the Boys’ have drained off nearly a TRILLION dollars from ‘our’ economy and put it in the hands of the rich and powerful.

Jericho on CBS died when they turned the show into an Iraq war, evil corporation, Bush/Cheney bashing Moonbat fantasy fulfullment excercise where 2 dozen US cities get nuked by an evil corporation resembling Haliburton/Blackwater USA complete with a bald evil white man who looked like a cross between Dick Cheney and Karl Rove.

Not surprising since nearly all movies of this type usually tank at the box office. Of course Hollyweird is 90% liberal so its really no suprise. Last night on the dying ER, a guy robbed a jewerly store then held the ER hostage – why? His mortgage payments doubled. Ugh…

Politics aside, thanks to Robert for the opening blurbs on BL cuz I can only DVR one and watch one (or DVR two) shows at a time – and apparently the networks think it’s smart to take three good programs and run them simultaneously – forcing me to miss something somewhere.

I loved the beginning of the show! That’s one of the reasons I continue to tune in each week, and I miss it when it’s not on! I’m not into the political bashing, but I felt like the Democratic party got banged up a bit last night as well.

The characters are what keep bringing me back. The storylines can vary from the ridiculous to the sublime, and there’s always alot of humor and very often at least one moment that makes you stop and think. Isn’t that what good TV is supposed to do?
