At least that's what Sophia Myles, who plays Beth Turner on the Friday night supernatural drama aired by CBS told SCI FI Wire.
The funniest part of the story to me was:
Although the show's fan base is predominantly women, Myles offered a way to attract male viewers to the show as well: "If the gentlemen sit down with their wives and watch, then they might get lucky over the weekend," she said. "Hopefully, on that very night. So, guys, tune in, because you're going to get lucky."
Although I'd never seen the gender breakouts for Moonlight, I was fairly sure based on the comments we've seen that the show was largely popular among females. In any case, we shouldn't have to wait much longer than a couple of weeks to find out for certain, but I'm sure to the rabid Moonlight fans who have been donating blood (great idea!) and sending garlic to CBS executives it seems like a long, long time.
I've got to think those same CBS execs must be a little frightened of fan reaction if the show is cancelled and that they'll switch up and donate garlic and send blood to CBS.
At this point, I'm pretty sure Moonlight will be renewed by CBS. Here's the link to the full SCI FI Wire story.
