I think people are just afraid that this “scandalous” picture will lead to many other things in the future. I can’t blame them, considering how some of the most looked up to tween stars have turned out *Cough*lindsaylohanjamielynnspears*Cough* But that also doesn’t mean we should start jumping all over Miley Cyrus just because of past bad examples. Who knows what she will turn out to be like in the future? doesn’t mean we should start jumping to conclusions. Some parents wouldn’t help feeling responsible if their tween child ending up having a sex scandal/drug addict/alcoholic/underage pregnant girl as a ro model*Cough*lindsaylohanjamielynnspears*Cough*
All I have to say is give the girl a break and don’t create something that hasn’t happened. If I had a child I would rather have her looking up to Miley than *cough*…oh what the heck….Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lynn Spears, there I said it.

As I understand, that particular Hannah Montana episode is one that had previously screened in the UK market several months ago – not sure if it would have measurable impact on US ratings, but it would be interesting to see if there is any change when a new episode appears that has not had a previous airing in another market.

Just thinking that perhaps some of the target demo may have already seen the episode by other means.
