Well, for being an attorney, ADA, you're not very objective nor even logical. BOR appeals to the same thing, only on the other side. It's quite obvious when you watch both shows and if you can't see that, maybe you should hang up your hat.

Regarding ratings, both KO and BOR draw roughly 3x their respective network's daily average, making both successful. Ratings are relative, afterall. not justy to the competition, but also to what a given series draws respective to the rest of the network. FNC is the CBS of cable news, while MSNBC is more like the CW. Which, in turn, makes BOR CSI, and KO ANTM. Both are successful in their own contexts.

I fight this battle over prime time ratings constantly with Overboard's watercarriers (all 2 of them)...being an attorney, I am forced to present facts in evidence that will settle these delusionaries. Overboard appeals to the angry and those with the same pathological hatred of anything Republican, Bush, or Fox "Noise" (jealous much, Overboard?) while being a sycophantic (emphasis on the 1st syllable) lovesick groupie for B. Hussein Obama with his other wetpant Chris Matthews.
The truth--if Overboard could imagine what that is--is no one watches!! Stick to sports, Keith.

Interesting that American Morning finally broke the 200k demo mark (on a non-breaking news day)...but that was when neither of the regular hosts were there.

My guess is that there would be little crossover anyway. There are few folks that would like both, and effectively none that would bother to record one to watch the other or watch the early airing of one to watch the later of the other.

If only all those 60, 70 and 80 year olds mattered. Sadly, they don't. Focus on the 25-54...

I notice that O'Reilly gets nearly 2 million more views total when adding both O'Reilly's and Olbermann's first viewings and repeat viewings later in the evening. In fact, "O'Reilly get nearly as many views in the 11:00 repeat cast as Olbermann does in the prime time original cast of "Countdown". So why does Olbermann consistently alienate potential crossovers when he infers that anyone who watches O'Reilly must be deranged. Why the constant insults and free promotions? I wonder how many loyalists of MSNBC switch over to see who this O'Reilly is that gets so much of Olbermann's attention?
