The Hills Has a 33.2% Increase and 1,068,000 DVR Viewers
For the week of April 21-27, 2008, MTVs The Hills was again the top cable time-shifted show with an increase of 33.2% over its Live audience in its Live+7 viewing audience and an absolute time-shifted audience size of 1,068,000.
Filling out the top 10 were two episodes of WWE Raw, Nickelodeon's iCarly and Zoey 101, three episodes of House, Disney's Finding Nemo and a SpongeBob.

It's pretty rare that we see sporting events on the top-timeshifted lists, and so the two NBA Playoff games between the Suns & Spurs are interesting appearances in the list as is the NFL Draft although at % levels that are quite low compared to both the leading cable shows as well as broadcast shows. I admit that I'm stunned that anyone would timeshift the NFL Draft. Does anything happen that isn't better absorbed via a website? Are there even any "good" parts to fast forward too?
It is not rare that we see the squarepanted one, and Spongebob absorbs 5 of the second 10 spots.
Our time-shifting chart ranks which of the Top 40 cable shows had the largest increase in viewing between Live audience and Live+7 audience numbers from viewers watching shows later on their digital video recorders (DVRs). We include both the absolute size of the time-shifted audience (and sort the chart by that metric), and the % increase over the Live viewing.
