I contacted the cable responsables for the broadcast asking the reason because that film was chosen. Do you want to know their answer? Getting it or not, right now I'm not optmistic about it, I will always cherish the show, its characters beatifully portrayed by amazing actors. I'll keep my eyes on them forever!!! Last night Portuguese Cable TV showed Alex O’Loughlin film “Feed” – I believe he also produced it… I contacted the cable responsables for the broadcast asking the reason because that film was chosen. Do you want to know their answer? The last 2 weeks they’ve been overflown with people looking for Alex’s films… Why? Surely because of it’s amazing work in Moonlight!!! The show although hasn’t been fully shown in Portugal, due to the writters strike some shows were postponed, but everyone who started to see it somehow got the chance, as I did, to watch the full (!!!!)season on-line and now we are part of the Moonlight fans that are fighting to get a 2nd season. Getting it or not, right now I’m not optmistic about it, I will always cherish the show, its characters beatifully portrayed by amazing actors. I’ll keep my eyes on them forever!!!

Thank you, Alexis Nielsen ratings do not depict the actual number of viewers because there are only a certain type of people that are reached by the way Nielsen records it’s ratings. I have worked in the television business for about 4 years now and I believe that Nielsen needs to come up with a more realistic way to gauge what Americans are really watching.

Case in point: MOONLIGHT
This show has more than 8 Million fans. Period. There are so many other examples… but right now this show ,it’s cast, crew and millions of upset fans are close to my heart. Advertisers and networks (specifically CBS!) must to find another way to determine the popularity and marketability of shows before network television is beyond saving.
