Sadly I still don't have all the data so there are no fancy tables of shows, though I will come back and add them later if I get some better data to consolidate. While most of the data is available in some fashion or another, putting it all together is kind of painful because different sites measure different things over different time periods. (Update: I've added the half-hourly data below, lots to explore) Nonetheless of note:
ABC's Desperate Housewives two hour finale garnered 16.8 million and a 6.1 in the 18-49 demo. Though less than its season averages, it's an improvement over last week. While down 15% over last year, some of that will be made up for via DVR. Everything is tailing off, so 15% down is probably the new "flat". The two hours of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition that led in to DH averaged 9.4 millon.
CBS' airing of the 43rd annual Country Music Awards averaged 11.7 million viewers according to the New York Times, an increase of 2.4 million viewers from last year. Wow. 60 Minutes drew 10.7 million viewers and a 1.6 rating in the 18-49 demo at 7pm.
Two hours of The Office repeats stunk it up for NBC and averaged less than 3 million for the two hour block. A Law & Order: SVU rerun at 10pm had 4.7m viewers, and Dateline at 7pm had 4.4 million.
A repeat of Family Guy with 6.2 million viewers outdrew new (and season finale) airings of The Simpsons (6.1m), King of the Hill (5.4m) and American Dad (5.6m).

Go Family Guy!
why?
Why would a network run reruns during sweeps? NBC has been running reruns for weeks, he. Although FOX did also with Family Guy. At least King of the Hill, even though it gets much less viewers, tries with new episodes. So sad…
I think NBC made the decision to write this year off after the strike. Likely for cost/return reasons, but we really don't know.
They ordered far fewer new episodes for their scripted series than the other networks did, and so they simply ran out of new shows.
Desperate's one of the few shows I watch, and the closer was terrific. They almost lost me last week, however, with the sociopathic kid cringe.
