There's not a lot to say about a night where below average WWE results still allow the CW to put the (Friday Night) Smackdown on FOX. Ok, sure, I know some people were watching the NBA game on cable as the Boston Celtics clinched a birth in the finals by beating the Detroit Pistons, but it doesn't account for this.
Less than 5 million people tuned in to The Scripps National Spelling Bee to find out whether they could spell guerdon. The spell checker for WordPress cannot though Microsoft Word got it right and so did thirteen year old Sameer Mishra who won the event.
Tomorrow's report for tonight's viewing will perhaps be a little more interesting, at least if you're either a hockey fan or a fan of mixed martial arts (MMA). CBS enters a brave new world by experimenting with MMA tonight in quest of the elusive male 18-34 year old who just doesn't want to watch TV. While we'll get the numbers, we won't easily come across the male 18-34 breakout to find out whether Kimbo Slice (vs James Thompson) and four other match-ups reeled the young men in between 9p-11p.
Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Finals will air between 8p-11p. (all times listed are EDT).
