With the best ratings matchup in a decade, the NHL Stanley Cup Finals put both games 3 and 4 in the top 20 at #11 and #12 with 4.0 million viewers each.
CBS's first attempt at mixed-martial arts EliteXC pulled a respectable 4.85 million viewers at #7. As usual, the faux wrestling shows of WWE Raw were in the top 20 at #9 and #10 with 4.3 and 4.2 million viewers respectively. Their broadcast relative, Friday Night Smackdown came in at #13 with 3.8 million viewers.
The Tigerless Memorial Tournament filled the final 2 spots in our list with 2.2 million and 1.6 million viewers for the Sunday and Saturday rounds respectively. The PGA has got to be hoping Tiger comes back for the US Open fully healed!
Major League Baseball put one game in the top 20 at #18 with 2.8 million viewers.
Note: Our Sports Ratings combine the top Broadcast sports shows and any cable sports shows that appeared in the top 40 cable programs. It is possible that a cable sports show that had enough viewers to make this list is left off because it didn’t have enough viewers to make the list of the top 40 cable programs for the week (which is all we have access to).

Not without Tiger, they don’t

Even without Woods an US Open would do around 10 million. If NBC is lucky to have Woods in contention next Sunday (and given the fact that the play finishes in primetime this year) they’ll get close to 20 million viewers for the final hour which NBA only dreams about thsese days

I don’t know Rob, the final numbers are in for game 1 of the NBA finals and it averaged 13.38mm. If it gets to a game 7, it’s possible that it could have an hour with 20 million viewers.

7 million viewers for NASCAR. Bill let me suggest if you can do that you do a chart like you do with O’Reilly/Olbermann for the Nascar races so us junkies like me can track it. Is that possible?
