You might want to re-read the article … It says they’ve already shot 6 of the 13 eps that have been ordered (not that ABCF only ordered 6 eps) … It’s one of the funniest shows that I’ve seen in a very long time …

For comparision on Middleman: Kyle XY’s season 2 premiere got 2.2 million viewers and I think it averaged around 1.5 million.

I don’t think it’s looking promising for Middleman. No ratings mentions anywhere, and the show’s producers conceded that ABC Family only ordered six episodes –

The Middle man drew just 524,000 viewers last week, with a 0.2/1 in the 18-49 demo.

its series premiere, IIRC, was in the 750K viewer range

As to the Goren/Eames vs. Logan/Wheeler smackdown, I think both Goren and Eames are better than their counterparts in the other pair, but at least Logan is good, Wheeler’s just taking up space. I’m sure that the ratings differences between the pairs is not going unnoticed. Why not drop the weak pair if it boosts ratings by 20%?

It’s great to see Disney Channel make such a strong comeback on the list!

Camp Rock performed really well on Disney Channel but maybe even more surprisingly well on ABC Family.

Disney definitely has another hot franchise on their hands.

BTW: If you receive a list of the entire Top 40 cable shows of the week, why not post a list of all 40?

RhuwM: Middleman wasn’t in the top 40 and while I often see data for shows not in the top 40 via network press releases, etc., I didn’t see anything like that for The Middleman

With only 16 episodes next season you’d think the L&O:CI showrunners would just get rid of the Logan/Wheeler team. Surprised to see that the repeat of Camp Rock on ABC Family got into the top twenty though, especially with it aring on ABC too. Any word on how The Middleman did in it’s premier on the channel last week? I would have thought it would least do Kyle XY numbers.
