With America's Got Talent (#1 viewership for the night at 11.51 million) and Celebrity Family Feud, NBC grabbed the viewership win for Tuesday. However, the debuts of ABC's new reality shows Wipeout (#1 demo adults 18-49 with 3.7 rating / 12 share) and I Survived A Japanese Game Show gave it a strong adults 18-49 demo win. Berman sees the Wipeout viewership growing, but he must be reading tea leaves, because I don't see any data behind that guess.
Fox's new episode of Hell's Kitchen performed well with a demo win at 9pm (3.3/10) in what was a very competitive demo hour. CBS's rerun line up was absolutely crushed in the demo. I could say CBS has decided to fight their summer demo battles on another night, but except for reruns of their comedies on Monday, they're getting crushed in the demo every night. And how exactly is the CW going to promote their Fall line up (on which the life of the network may depend) if no one's watching them during the summer? On Facebook?
