ABC's new Dance Machine and the return of Duel were completely ignored by viewers on Friday night, particularly demo viewers where they both scored a 1.0 rating/4 share. Oops!
Still ABC wasn't in the viewer basement, Fox was. All I can figure is that the movies Fox broadcasts on Friday nights must be very, very cheap, because they perform dreadfully.
The winners weren't nearly as interesting as the losers. CBS reruns delivered the viewer win [5.82 million] on a typically light Summer Friday, but NBC took the demo crown with a 1.5 rating / 5 share. NBC'stook the show demo win with a 1.6/6, and CBS's 10pm Numb3rs claimed the viewer win with but 6.23 million.
