  1. Outlander

So why does Cops do perennially well in the Saturday 8-9pm timeslot? Is it just a guilty pleasure indulged by people whose Saturday night plans fell through?

  2. Outlander, my guess is that Fox puts a tiny amount of effort into programming for Saturday night with non-rerun shows and its broadcast competition puts in no effort (or expense).
