Looks like Olbermann has leveled off to 1M. I figured that would happen right after the primaries. The way he's getting hammered lately by his KOS base, I suspect his numbers will decrease.

I don't watch FOX news. My dish provider does not even supply it - though I get CNN and MSNBC. But the numbers tell me Democrats should not start celebrating yet. 25-54 is a better demo than 18-49 for cable news purposes. They give more money, discuss politics more at their watering holes which they ( we ) like to think are domains we share with like-minded people, etc. Even if it defies all expectations the youth vote is negligible. John Simon and Tina Fey are funny, but few likely voters are going to be influenced by jokes. Indeed, I'd say South Park has as much or more influence among libertarians at least, who are unlikely to vote for good money chasing bad down ratholes to nowhere. Excuse me for my political statement, but we're talking cable news here.

Any thoughts as to why Fox News doesn't air "Red Eye" at 11:00 to try and compete against The Daily Show, Colbert Report, and some of the other late night comedies? It seems like such a waste to have a new show air only at 3:00 am when nobody is watching. The show actually is quite funny, and since O'Reilly is only pulling 770k viewers in his 11pm re-run, why not air Red Eye at 11 and then do the reruns of O'Reilly at 12, Hannity at 1, and On The Record at 2?
