Frankly I think the problem with HSM is that the target audience isn't sitting around at home during the summer watching TV. Maybe for a one night event (like a movie for instance) but not enough to come back week after week for a show that isn't all that entertaining.

Mike G., I think Disney/ABC underestimated how smart kids are. If it was a show about actually getting an appearance on the next HSM, I think the ratings would be very different. But since it's only about winning an appearance in a video about HSM, they couldn't be bothered getting involved. I don't blame them.

ABC has to be VERY disappointed about HSM: Get in the Picture. Apparently, not many people are accepting their invitation. Do you think it's a case of too much HSM? Or is American Gladiators just THAT much better?

Funny how The Mole went back to being the lowest rated show of the night again.
And also, a request for the title of Wednesday's ratings report, assuming that Greatest American Dog's ratings continue to fall on their new night: Dog Becomes Dance's Bitch. It's technically not cursing in this context if that's a problem!
