The kickoff of the college football season saw ABC and Saturday Night Football on top with an average of 5.46 million viewers [over Fox with 4.70 million] and a demo adults 18-49 rating/share of 1.9/7 [over Fox with a 1.7/6]. Fox's standard Saturday line-up of COPS and America's Most Wanted still put the demo beat down on CBS and NBC.

While CBS and NBC will rotate in different drama repeats during the fall season, last night's results are likely to pretty much be the pattern through November.

Remember the ABC college football results are for multiple games depending on location, and as always results for live programming are prone to adjustment prior to the final results.
