Last night’s GOSSIP GIRL retained 100% of its record-setting premiere audience from a week ago, matching its series best in adults 18-34 (2.3/7), adults 18-49 (1.7/5) and women 18-49 (2.4/6). GOSSIP GIRL retained 97% of its premiere audience in women 18-34 (3.2/10), making it the series’ second highest-rated episode yet.
Facing nearly all original competition, GOSSIP GIRL won the 8:00pm hour among adults 18-34 (2.3/7), women 18-34 (3.2/10), persons 12-34 (2.1/7), females 12-34 (3.1/9) and female teens (2.8/10). GOSSIP GIRL ranked second at 8:00p.m. in women 18-49 (2.4/6)
GOSSIP GIRL continues to build dramatically over its first season, outperforming its second episode last year (9/26/07) by 44% in adults 18-34, 33% in women 18-34, 55% in adults 18-49, 41% in women 18-49 and 32% in viewers (3.3mil).
