Univision #1 Network in America on Friday Night Among Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49

NTI Broadcast Prime Highlights Week of 09/08/08 from a Univision Press Release:

 

  • Univision was the #3 network in the country for the entire week in overall prime among all Adults 18-34 (1.3 million) beating ABC, CBS, and CW.       

 

  • Univision experienced significant double-digit audience growth versus the comparable week in 2007 among Persons 2+ (+24%), Adults 18-34 (+28%) and Adults 18-49 (+18%). 

 

  • Univision out-delivered ABC, CBS, NBC, or FOX on 6 out of 7 nights among Adults 18-34 and on 4 out of 7 nights among Adults 18-49.  

 

  • On every weeknight, Univsion's "Al Diablo Con Los Guapos" (Down with the Beautiful) was the Most-Watched primetime program on Broadcast Network TV among all Adults 18-34.

 

 

  • Friday night, Univision was the #1 network in the country among Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49thanks to its programming line-up of “Al Diablo con los Guapos” (Down with the Beautiful), “Fuego en la Sangre” (Burning for Revenge) and “Rosa De Guadalupe” (The Rose of Guadalupe).

 

  • “Al Diablo Con Los Guapos” (Down with the Beautiful) made Univision the #1 network in the M-F 8pm to 9pm time periodamong Adults 18-34 (1.9 million) and Teens 12-17 (472,000) and #2 among Adults 18-49 (3.0 million).

 

  • Univision’s “Fuego en la Sangre” (Burning for Revenge) helped the network rank #1 in the M-F 9pm to 10pm hour among Adults 18-34 (1.6 million) and #3 among Adults 18-49 (2.7 million).

 

  • With its checkerboard line-up, Univision ranked as the #1 network in the M-F 10pm to 11pm time period among Adults 18-34 (1.1 million).

 

  • For the entire night on Saturday, Univision was the #3 broadcast network thanks to “Sabado Gigante” (Giant Saturday) among Adults 18-34 (564,000) and Kids 2-11 (262,000), beating CBS and NBC.

 

  • “El Show De Los Sueños: Sangre De Mi Sangre” (The Show of Dreams: Blood of my Blood) continued to attract a young audience, delivering an average of 292,000 Kids 2-11 viewers, up 11% increase from its premiere.

 

  • Univision was the 5th ranked network for the entire week in primetime among Adults 18-49 (2.1 million), Persons 2+ (4.0 million) and Households (2.3 million). Additionally, Univision ranked #3 among Teens 12-17 (276,000).

 

  • For the third consecutive week, Univision captured the #1 network ranking in primetime among Kids 2-11 (541,000).
