Early Ratings: Do Not Disturb Stinks, and so did our web site...

in the early metered market reports, America's Got Talent led the pack with a 7.5/12 (household rating/share).

Outside of AGT, there were still a whole lot of repeats on ABC and CBS. FOX's Bones scored a healthy 6.3/10, but 'Til Death may not have to wait long (for death, that is) with a 3.3/5. Death will likely even come more quickly for Do Not Disturb which had 2.5/4.

The CW ran with America's Next Top Model which scored a 3.5/6 and a repeat of 90210 which had a 1.9/3.

Please keep in mind these results are very preliminary.

Bill will have the full overnight numbers up hopefully somewhere around 9:30am, or I will if Bill is no longer speaking to me...

We had a direct link to one of our posts from Drudgereport.com, and not only did our web host freak out, it basically gave us the "upgrade your plan" or GET OUT!" speech. We upgraded to a better quality of service, but in the meanwhile access to the site was limited. We should be back up and running all the way around now, though we have this goofy little problem with some pictures not working in the "featured story" column. I'm working on it.

On the plus side, it's great to be linked to, even if it crushes and crashes your site...and I found my wallet! :D

Congratulations on getting the Drudge link. You’re hitting the big time now!

  2. Julia

I was wondering what happened. Which post was linked?

Til Death/Do Not Disturb may both be canceled by Fox.
Filling the slot with TSCC and airing House encore at 8 on mon (daydream)

  4. cable news ratings post (Rachel Maddow got more viewers than Keith Olbermann). There wasn’t even a shred of commentary in the post it was all data. Perhaps a lesson for us…

  5. BTW, thank you Outlander. And just a small update here in the comments: Bones had 9.71 million viewers from 8p-9p with a 3.2/10 among 18-49 year olds and a 2.7/8 with 18-34 year olds. It won the hour w/18-49 year olds and will claim victory with 18-34 year olds, though Bill will be quick to note that with the 18-34 year olds it actually tied with Al Diablo con los Guapos on Uni.

I second richard’s dream, Fox should cancel the comedies and put Terminator in that slot.

  7. third. It’s a good day for daydreaming…

  8. Although I doubt Fox makes that move, the 9-10pm hour on Wednesdays doesn’t look to be that competitive in the age demos. I think Private Practice could definitely disappoint, Criminal Minds is demo weak and Stylista and Deal or No Deal could be overcome.
