In the early metered market reports (which are always subject to some changes) of this last Thursday before the "full competition" arrives, a live, half hour installment of America's Got Talent and the 10pm airing of CBS Canadian-produced Flashpoint both had a 6.4/11 household rating/share.
There were a lot of repeats on ABC, CBS and NBC still, but over on Fox the Hole in the Wall appears to be getting smaller - hole, scored a 2.9/5, followed by Kitchen Nightmares which pulled a 3.8/7. Last week in the *final* numbers, Hole pulled a 3.5/6 and the Gordon Ramsay led Nightmares had a 3.7/6. The numbers may seem low, but last week both shows placed in the top 20 shows for the week among 18-49 year olds (Kitchen Nightmares was #11). But it looks like Nightmares kept pace with last week while hole did not. We'll see when the fast affiliate numbers come out.
Meanwhile, I can't believe I didn't watch the season-premiere of Supernatural! I will watch later, so no spoilers. Both Smallville (2.9/5) and Supernatural (2.7/4) kicked off their seasons last night. Thursdays seems to be CW's token night for the male audience (though I know both shows have a lot of female fans!).
Either Bill or I will post the fast affiliate rankings once we've seen them.

I know you’ll enjoy Supernatural, Robert. It was a really great episode. It actually felt more like a movie to me then a TV series.
I was spoiled for it and Supernatural still had some honestly jawdropping moments. Really really interesting direction they seem to be going. I think you’ll like it, Robert.
Smallville was uneven – It has potential to be fun and interesting again –I hope they realize it.
