Yes, Yes, Yes, I agree with Davis. THERE ARE TOO MANY SHOWS ON MONDAY and if their is a great game MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL TAKES PRECEDENCE DURING FOOTBALL SEASON!!!, Either space them out or just let the shows be. The bottom line, I am in the 18-49 age group and do not have a DVR. The Girlfriend and I compromise. She wants Gossip Girl and One Tree Hill, I want Chuck and Heroes. Since Both GG, and OTH repeat on Sunday, she bites the dust and we watch Chuck and Heroes. We also like TSCC and Prison Break, so unfortunately, we have to catch these shows Online. SPACE THEM OUT … NOTHING IS ON TV on TUESDAYS, WEDNESDAYS, and FRIDAYS (LAS VEGAS was Cancelled!!!) ….

Thanks Bill no I got totally confused I thought that PB did better because I messed the numbers up.But looking at it no, it was just as bad this past Monday.I don’t why it’s still on the air though.

I’m Not Sure What Needs To Happen But Ppl & NBC Need To Do Something, ANYTHING For That Matter, Change Time/Day Whatever It Takes . Chuck Needs To Be Saved ASAP It Wouldn’t Be “Awesome” If Cancelled NOW. Any IDEAS ? Another Problem Chuck Has & Other Shows Will Have Is The Actors Strike That Could Come Up Later This Month So If Any Of Us Want To See Some Of These Shows Again Ratings Have To Go Up Across The Board, PERIOD !

Heroes, Chuck, and Life are all in BIG trouble.
I say put ‘Medium’ back on at ten, to at least get some solid and consistent numbers each week, closer to 10 million or even above. The viewers stay with ‘Medium’, and it is the only hit show NBC has really had on Monday nights since when, 1999? The biggest mistake NBC made was moving it the year ‘Heroes’ premiered, to make room for the flop “Studio 60″, and even ‘Medium’ suffered from its Wednesday night slop later that year/season.
NBC should put its money into the few drama hits it has: ‘Medium’, ‘Law and Order SVU’ and ‘Law and Order’, and stop shuffling their good shows around. NBC’s comedies do not even have good ratings….

Opala, there is no direct mathematical relationship between HH ratings and viewers, both are directly measured by Nielsen. Some shows will have larger number of viewers for each household than others.

Can someone please answer this.If a show get’s a 3.4/ and a 3.8/ how many millions is that? Someone wrote in another site that that it means over 5 million but I though it was only over 4 million not five.

I really think what is hurting T:SCC is the fact that the show’s creator has said that the tv show has nothing to do with the upcoming movies – that the two are separate universes. That ruined a lot of the fun for me.

Weird thing about Chuck is that his coworkers at Buy More are much funnier and interesting than the three leads.

Last night TSCC had 5.61 million viewers, so slightly better than last week’s overnight number. P.S. Chuck had 5.89 million And Heroes down to 8.21 million…

Oh, God, the numbers for Life is scary… I seriously do not want this show to disappear. It’s such a great show with intelligent and funny writing. I wish NBC does more to promote it, the four episodes in two week thing would only work if people KNEW about the schedules…

I doubt Chuck or Heroes will be cut loose. Still a huge monkey maker both shows especially online. Worse they could do is do a Drive and air it on the web.

The reason FOX will keep PB over TSCC is because of syndication rights. It gets more bang for its buck at this point. BTW, I’m really enjoying PB this season–it’s the best since the first season.

After the Moonlight fans TSCC’s are the most annoying. FOX gave every opportunity to this show including a 40 million lead-in for the premiere. It’s not working and that’s it.

PB at least used to work, and i still think FOX should move it back at 8pm

I guess I don’t understand the numbers. Last week T:TSCC was 5.53 2.0/5 1.6/5. This week is 3.7/ 6. So is that better or worse?

They are all four different numbers. the 3.7/6 is the very preliminary metered market household rating/share. then you have last week’s less (but still) preliminary 5.53 million viewers, 2.0/5 among 18-49 year olds and 1.6/5 among 18-34 year olds.

Last night TSCC had 5.61 million viewers, so slightly better than last week’s overnight number. P.S. Chuck had 5.89 million And Heroes down to 8.21 million…

Joseph, the numbers here are the early HH numbers. You are comparing that to viewer and demo numbers, so you’ll have to wait for the fast affiliate numbers to be posted.

Sci Fi would never grab T:TSCC, there’s no common ground between Warner and NBC/Universal according to creator of “V” Kennneth Johnson, who’s had some experience with trying to deal with then regarding a new “V” mini series.

I think Heroes has been such a strong show so far this season, when compared to last season’s episodes. I think Monday Night is so overloaded with shows, and then football on top of it. I end up DVRing a large portion of Monday Night’s stuff and then watch it on Tuesday Nights when there is nothing good on TV…

Outlander, I think football plays a part, mostly because people I know who used to watch TSCC like watching all game related stuff live.

They can record everything else, though barely. Recording two shows at once, and watching a third live, the HD DVR stretched to the limit of it’s abilities. This is the situation the networks have put the viewer in. It’s ridiculous. People who don’t have DVR’s aren’t going to bother.

HEROES is fading fast but its key demo will likely keep it alive for a final season next year to wrap things up. Its quickly going the way of THE 4400. A disasterous Season 2 really killed the show as the magic of Season 1 died with the absurd Season 1 finale.

Oh well, FRINGE is still doing well and LOST is still around until its planned exit in 2010.

PB probably cost 1/2 of what T:SCC does.

T:SCC might be too smart and too good for TV and the average-joe six pack.

Last night was an incredible episode and the reviews agreed.
Maybe if FOX ran an ad once in a while or attempted a new push for the show, people would know to watch.

I hear all the time “That show is back?” “That show is still on?” “When?”

Prison Break should have been cancelled after Season 2. Not sure why they keep that one limping along. The only Season that was really good was Season 1.

Chuck? Chuck it out the door. Never could watch that one.

TSCC? Its doomed. Only question now is when they pull the plug. Last nights episode was pretty good but its clear that TV audiences prefer dancing 3rd rate celebrities to Terminators having a chunk of their craniums being blown away. TSCC might have done better running on the SCI-FI channel. Now? It has ratings similar to the CBS series JERICHO – which SCI-FI passed on when CBS put it up for sale. When the axe falls, I wonder how they will “terminate” Summer? Maybe she and John Conner can go out with a bang? Some real man on cyborg action? Provided she is anatomically correct.

I think this series of Heroes is so much better than the dire series 2 so I’m surprised the ratings are going down. It looks like the shows that had shortened seasons because of the writers strike and no new episodes have been suffering the most.

I seriously doubt that the CW or the Scifi network could ever afford Sarah Connor.

As to why keep Prison Break, over Sarah Connor (well without knowing the costs invovled) studios if given a equal pick of a show to give another chance will often give that chance to something that has been successful (which Prison Break at one time was), while Sarah Connor never has been (no matter that I personally think its a better program)..

Max, poor ratings on a large broadcast network translates to even poorer ratings on a cable network or netlet. Most of the audience will have no idea where the show went and wouldn’t go looking for it.

Man, and Fox and Chrysler really worked hard to promote that episode, too. I agree with Frank; these shows are getting crushed. TSCC really suffered from having an abbreviated first season that kind of got thrown out there with no real lead-in (besides its first episode–the Super Bowl!).

[However, note my comment from last week -- I don't see evidence that MNF is really "soaking up" a lot of ratings from other shows... If looks like MNF is getting most of its audience from new viewers (i.e. people who otherwise wouldn't be watching TV at all) and other cable shows.]

TSCC pulls better numbers than a lot of the CW’s shows. If Fox cans it, might do better on the CW on a different night. If not, SciFi should definitely grab it, its numbers would make it one of SciFi’s best shows if most of the watchers followed the move.

I thought last night’s TSCC was a good episode, and with limited commercials to boot. Heroes was also excellent, everyone I know watches both these shows. No idea why they are doing worse than last year. I guess the writers strike did more damage than the networks care to admit.
