For syndicated shows which air on multiple days, the viewership shown is the average of all telecasts.
Although ESPN does “syndicate” Monday Night Football back to the local markets of the teams playing in the game so it can be viewed by those in the local markets without cable or satellite, the viewer number indicated seems to be for total viewers of Monday Night Football including those who watched on ESPN. We’re not exactly sure why Nielsen reports it this way, but since they are, we are too.

I find it amusing that Seinfeld is still a top-20 syndicated show after what, nine years since cancellation? During the week, I can watch four episodes per day if I want – and I know a few people who do just that. As for weekend editions, I’m not even sure when I could watch it. Apparently plenty of people do tune in though! We love ya, Jerry and company!
