THR.com is reporting that the CW has ordered 2 more Privileged scripts.
THR.com may think Privileged "has been struggling in the ratings" but readers of our site should not be too surprised by the script order because our Renew/ Cancel Index says Privileged is in renewal territory right now.
Cool. Considering how well a two script order went for Terminator, I’m hopeful.
Though, I think the only reason Privileged is in the green on the Renew/Cancel index is because Valentine and Easy Money are pushing the network average down. I don’t care about the reason though, if it means more JoAnna Garcia, then woohoo!
Privileged is different, and with more realistic drama than any of the other CW shows which all seem to be a clone of the old overly (and unrealistically) dramatic 90210 or Melrose Place. I am glad to see CW support this little gem of a show, and give it a chance to catch on, which it will. This show is a credit to CW!
Excellent. Privileged is probably my favorite new show of the season and is a wonderful series. It deserves a long life.
