MSNBC – 908,000 viewers #1 in the Demo, again :-)

I said it, CNN’s middle will take them nowhere. People who watch political shows are political junkies, and the overwhelming majority of political junkies are not in the middle.

  2. Pink Bear

I’m glad to see that Fox is losing their ratings.

When Obama is president we will see them losing even more rapidly (if they are still on the air). But the rate they are going, I don’t see them staying viable.

    Fox Noise = KKK

  3. Chris Merrill

Carl, then maybe CNN should turn away from the super-politics channel. How about they give America a taste of what CNN International is like. That would give FNC and MSNBC a huge run for their money, I think.
And Pink Bear, MSNBC stuck it out with crummy ratings for years. FNC isn’t going down overnight. Even if they do dip below profitability, Mr. Murdoch is renown for keeping on assets that loose money because they give him a voice. For example, the New York Post

murdoch sold the chicago sun times.

  5. cattleman

    Mr. Gorman,
Thank you for responding to my question. That was very nice of you.

  6. cattleman

As for the comments of Pink Bear and Jon. Before you begin to feel to sad at the decline of Fox News which exist in some parallel universe you live in, you might want to base those comments on actual ratings.

    This just released today:

    October Ratings – Rankers
Fox News had four of the top five cable news show in October (in Total Viewers, Live+SD), and six of the top 10. The top FNC program was again The O’Reilly Factor, while Anderson Cooper 360 was CNN’s top program, finishing 4th. Countdown came in at #6 as MSNBC’s top program.

Fox News was the #2 cable channel on all of cable during October, averaging 3,362,000 Total Viewers during prime time. CNN finished 5th (2,139,000), MSNBC 9th (1,579,000) and Headline News 28th (666,000). In total day, FNC was 3rd (1,490,000), CNN 9th (1,008,000), MSNBC 13th (675,000) and CNBC 29th (380,000).

  7. Bri

I really like Obama’s idea of extending unemployment benefits. I hope McCain doesn’t win, I don’t want to work. I’d rather collect an Obama check from you working chumps.

  8. Fabfugarrie

Seems from the ratings above KO and Maddow beat both Oreilly and Vannity in the 25-54 segment for Monday. Seems to be a trend lately wouldnt you say! Must be that parallel universe thing!

  9. sonny

Bri, You are simply too stupid to understand anything,so why waste any time here? I am mean serioulsy dude…Are you freaking kidding me? I guess you the only one who’s been better off the last 8 years under Bush’s rule ha? What a JOKE!

  10. Fabfugarrie

Sonny, just humor Bri. In order to receive UI you actually would have had to work! Bri said she doesnt like to work so its really a non-issue! No doubt shes in the 22 percent that think George Bush is the greatest president ever!!!

  11. Shawn

And the winner for the best management on cable TV for raking in of the ad revenue during this election season goes to….MSNBC.

  12. Winano

I bet Keith Olbermann would do a lot better if he were on CNN rather than MSNBC

  13. Merle

OBermann on CNN? What are you joking? He could never get away with his twisted logic and crazy rant on a real news network like CNN.

  14. Joey

I am hoping Barack wins. I cant wait for those working idiots to send me a check. Obama/Biden 08!!!!

  15. PapaBeargotPunked

wow Keith is again the No.1 in Cable News!

  16. PapaBeargotPunked

Matthews, Olbermann and Maddow are all NO.1 again in the advertiser’s key demo.

David Gregory with one of the crappiest shows on Cable News was almost at No.1 … hahaha MSNBC bosses must be laughing all the way to the bank!

  17. Its good to see Morning Joe competing with American Morning… I love that show, I just have to have my cup of Morning Joe. :) )

  18. cattleman

It is worth noting and intersting to observe, that the people who are these synchopants for MSNBC care nothing about facts or numbers. Perfect Obama supporters. If you get faced with the truth, just call FOX a liar. Hitler killed millions with you types. He was, your recal totaly in favor of complete Media Control. They made the movies and the news. I’ll bet that idea sends a thrill up your leg doesn’t it Pink Bear.
Outlawing O’Reilly who is at #1 in October
and annointing Keith who is #6
    Fox is #2 folks
    MSNBC is 13th

    That is this universe Fabfugarrie

free market system and MSNBC cannot win.

And another thing. Most conservatives do not watch CNN. They consider it too liberal. CNN is trying to even out and there is some evidence that they are making some headway. You people rant and wave about Fox but seldom mention that CNN consistently kicks MSNBC’s head in the sewer. CNN consistently beats MSNBC.
You know why you do not mention it…..because your little minds that dream of state control cannot figure out how a Network as liberal as CNN even beats MSNBC.
FOX beats CNN in the free market and CNN beats MSNBC. So Pink Bear are you for outlawing CNN too? Are all the folks at CNN liars also?

  19. Fabfugarrie

In studies done,Cattleman and those like him, of the neo-conservative movement have been shown to be 3 times more likely to live in fear and paranoia than their liberal counterparts. They had rather stay stagnant in their beliefs and live in the past rather than see world, or as Cattleman says “the universe”, as something which is evolving (much to their disgust and hate) beyond their isolated bounds of understanding and control. They hate change and when change occurs as with the case of Fox losing ground to MSNBC, the paranoia of losing kicks in and they visualize demons everywhere. Cattleman quotes stats upon stats, but thats not the point. The point is he fails to see (as always looking thru the big end of the telescope first) the change that is happening before him. He wont change no matter what we liberals say for he lives in a universe that is governed by fear that was so masterfully exploited by George Bush( talk about Hilter followers!)
. But anyway.thats just the way it is. So Cattleman keep quoting your stats and we’ll keep yanking your chain as we love to do. But know one thing for sure – times they are a changin! Just feel safe in knowing your universe wont end as it does.

  20. Pink Bear

D.L. HUGHLEY has an awesome program on CNN on Saturdays at 10 p.m.

I watch it when MSNBC has repeats of Lockup.

Make sure you catch his new show. I’m sure he’s blowing Fox out of the water with this new show.
