I’m a sports junkie and I love this show. I don’t get to watch MNF or TSCC because I work nights anyways. Still I haven’t missed an episode since the show came out. This year I forked over $40 for a season pass when I found out 22 episodes were airing (even though I can watch for free online, I can watch it anywhere with my ipod and it’s completely commercial free). It should have been scheduled for Wednesdays.

I think there are some legit arguments for shows being in the wrong time slots (generally speaking). When you put shows that would have overlapping audiences, I can see where numbers for one would suffer due to the presense of the other. For example, taking away the friday trait of being a wasteland for a moment, I thought that Life and Numb3rs were shows that overlapped and probably hurt each others’ numbers a bit (not to say that Life will be a hit or anything, but I do feel that Numb3rs’s surge last week was helped by the fact that Life wasn’t there). I think they’ll be some interesting competition between CSI:NY and L&O as well – or if they put House against Grey’s, any CSI against any L&O, etc. I do agree a lot of shows that underperform have little to do with the “excuses” you mentioned. However, I wouldn’t agree that the argument doesn’t apply at all in some cases, especially with a CSI involved – since it pulls viewers of every kind.

To that end, we all knew MOWE was screwed when we saw the late start date and having to go up against Miami after it’s already about 4 episodes deep then.

I am just hoping scifi picks up terminator after this season ends. Its a great show and the numbers it pulls now would make it a huge hit on scifi.

terminator gets better all the time but rating keep going down if u have giving up on the show your missing out this is best show on tv too bad everyone likes non thinking crap

Another great SARAH CONNOR episode…I know with baseball interfering every other week – it’s messing up viewers “viewing habits”- Although some of it could be a lack of “intelagence” —–I saw one postby a guy; wanting to know why Sarah didn’t air 3 weeks ago – One SHOULD know by turning on the TV and SEEING a PLAYOFF GAME in a major sporting event…!!??!!??

Although…I think SKYNET is behind making people watch “CIRCUS WITH THE (PRETEND) STARS” that’s how SKYNET will defeat SARAH CONNOR…

Great episode – and consistant great acting and stories…the best thing on since “24″……PERIOD!!!

I’m a casual watcher of TSCC as well. If it goes, I’ll move on to something else without much difficulty. It’s a quality show, but something just doesn’t feel right about it. Maybe it’s because the movies have always been “chase” movies – happening in a very short period of time with problems and solutions that must come and go quickly before anyone can catch his breath. Then comes the series where there are terminators of the week and relative ease of time travel. As for last night, I think they softened Sarah too much. The bowling alley scene drove me nuts because of that.

Why do people keep bringing up Monday Night Football? Most sports junkies that watch every MNF game wouldnt watch TSCC anyway. Even if it was the home team, the first quarter doesnt usually end until after 9PM and TSCC is over by then. The best part of any game is the 2nd half – provided its not a blow out. Shows need to stand on their own. I remember Jericho fans blaming American Idol for its poor performance in early 2007. But NCIS has done great when it goes up against Idol. No matter where you put a show and it performs poorly, people will say “Its on too early”, “Up against strong competition”, “Its on too late”, “Its on the wrong day”, “Its on when most people walk there dogs…” I think TSCC has lost most of its original fan base due to the content itself. Its not easy to follow with so many terminators and resistance fighters from the future popping out of the woodwork like roaches. Also TSCC makes SKYNET look pretty stupid. After all, why didnt they just send an army of Terminators back to 1982 and kill Sarah Conner before Reese ever arrived and just build SKYNET themselves? Or better yet back to the 1980s and replace Bill Gates with a T-X model? Oh wait, maybe they already have!

The ONLY reason TSCC will remain is because of T4. If there was no T4, it would have been axed after a few finale episodes to wrap the series up. Even though it got a full season. It wont see a 3rd. I guess ratings could go up, but that would be shocker if they did.

Though I still watch it, Im not in love with it. When it ends I will just shrug my shoulders and move on. I think a better series idea would be to focus on the resistance efforts against SKYNET as a continuation of T4 (assuming its successful enough) in the future and dump this whole alternate reality story line. But keep Summer, course.

The numbers for Sarah Connor are going to say roughly the same until they get a new time slot. And, not having to compete aganist Chuck dosen’t really mean anything. Most Chuck fans don’t watch Terminator. It’s having to compete aganist Monday Night Football that is the real killer for Sarah Connor.
